The AMS12 is a 12,000 BTU cooling only split air conditioner. This model is highly energy efficient at 13.5 SEER and is whisper quiet. This is a lower cost alternative to a central AC system and is much quieter than a window or portable AC. The Alen split air conditioner does not take up any floor space as the indoor air handler is wall mounted. The AMS12 utilizes only 1,060 watts of power and also functions as a 70 pint dehumidifier.

An attractive air handler is mounted on the inside wall and refrigerant and condensate lines run through a small whole in the wall to the outside unit.
